Hello lovelies!
Today I felt very lazy about making breakfast but still wanted something filling which gives me energy for the day. So I chose this easy and healthy nana-porridge which is so fast to make but tastes really good! And what I also like about this kind of recipes is that you only need a few ingredients to get a result as tasty as this one is :P Here is how to make it :)<3
You will need:
- 1 cup of oats (or other flakes, I used spelt which is even lower in fat and higher in protein but feel free to use whtever you prefer!)
- 2 cups of liquid (water or plantbased milk, I like to use 1 water and 1 milk for the "creamyness")
- 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 ripe banana (make sure it has a lot of spots on it!)
Additional toppings may be:
- another banana, sliced
- coconut chips
- buckinis (buckweat chuncks)
- chia seeds
- jam (the combination is so freaking good!)
How to do it:
Put oats together with the liquid in a sauce pan and heat until it boils. Add the sliced banana and let all simmer on medium to low heat for about 5-10 minutes until the oats have soaked all the liquid. You can choose yourself wheather you want some liquid to stay or not, I like it when it is not too dry :)
Literally, that's it! Pour your porridge into a bowl, top it with whatever toppings you like and ENJOY!
I hope you liked my recipe ^^ If so, leave a comment and follow my blog for more! See you soon!
xoxo Lili

- 1-2 TL Zimt
- 1 reife Banane
Als Toppings habe ich benutzt:
- 1 weitere Banane, in Scheiben geschnitten
- Kokosnuss Chips
- Buchweizen
- Chia Samen
- Marmelade (diese Kombination ist der Hammer! :P)
Guten Appetit! <3
